Apple just released the new M3 chip MacBooks, and they are just beasts in performance, I can't wait to get my hands on one of these new MacBook. The specs on these are phenomenal.
Honestly, I'm good with my old MacBook from 2018. It's good and works great for me. Even though I just use it as a simple desktop, but it just works great for me on my day-to-day work.
I agree with you I've been meaning to upgrade my MacBook as well, so I guess buying a 2022 model would be a smarter way of doing it. It wouldn't be a huge difference for someone jumping from a 2022 to a 2023 MacBook, but for me, it's jumping from 2019 to a 2022 and that's huge.
They at least fixed the issue with hard drives that was in the M2 chip MacBooks and honesty you only need a M1 MacBook to get the job done.

I mean they are nice and all, I'm happy for the new release because I can now buy the old M2 max MacBook for cheaper now.
