They say that you should rest, not move or walk and ice your ankle when you get a sprain, but the best remedy to healing it is walking. Movement is key in healing your ankle and I experienced it last week the days I rest I feel pain in my ankle, can't stand and move at all. But when I slowly overcome the pain and start walking and walking, it gets better, and the pain fades away.
